The Macallan partnered with British pop artist, Sir Peter Blake, to create a limited-released whisky line and art collection designed by SPB himself. This was the first time Macallan brought the SPB collection line to China, and we couldn’t have been more stoked to be their trusted partner.

We developed a two-day art exhibit in Shanghai that doubled as a branding event for the launch of The Macallan’s Anecdotes of Ages Collection—giving a special experience to those who attended. And with whisky in full ‘boom’ and enthusiasts’ personal collections expanding during the pandemic, The Macallan event couldn’t have launched at a better time.
Guests embarked on a three-part, immersive journey where they learned about Sir Peter Blake and his craft, were introduced to the Anecdotes of Ages Collection, and indulged in a pop-art inspired dinner to taste the inspiration, process and innovation behind the collaboration.
Like the legendary single malt itself, the event went down smoothly and generated a ton of buzz. It generated millions of impressions, the hundreds of event attendees were astonished, and everyone’s palate was left satisfied.
